This is a REAL SPECIMEN of Acherontia lachesis, a species of deaths head native to SE Asia, they are unspread (wings are folded closed). NOTE: Most larger bodied moths get 'greasy' from the fats stores in their abdomens, grease stains can be removed with acetone or nail polish remover.
