Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of multiple dogs in prone position, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of STAATSPREIS FR VORZGLICHE LEISTUNGEN IN DER HERANBILDUNG VON POLIZEI HUNDEN (STATE AWARD FOR EXCELLENT ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE TRAINING OF POLICE DOGS), circumscribed by an inscriptions of BAYERISCHES STAATSMINISTERIUM DES
